In August 2011 many residents and businesses on the east coast including Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, and many other areas were notified to prepare for the worst and hope for the best as Hurricane Irene slammed into the area. Because hundreds of MedConenctUSA client’s located on the east coast pre planned for such potential disasters we were ready to assist anyone affected who were not able to staff their offices.
Our expert staff worked with individual clients to ensure they were properly covered so emergency calls from patients and hospitals could be answered. We always monitor weather conditions to ensure proper staffing levels in case clients need to leave in a hurry or are not able to come in at all.
We were even able to help many offices that were not client’s of ours who were either weren’t using a medical answering service or were notified by their current providers that they were not going to be able to guarantee they would be available to answer their phones because of staffing problems. MedConnectUSA has redundant power, telephone, and call center sites located in different areas of the Country to minimize the potential impact of outages to our clients.
