In May 2010 there was a devastating flood that killed 21 people in Nashville Tennessee, Mississippi, and Kentucky. There were many medical offices that were affected and forced to shut down due to the flooding for more than 2 months.
To help our clients who were affected by the flooding MedConnectUSA added additional answering service operators and other administrative staff to be able to handle the additional incoming calls. Our operators were able to comfort and assure patients that the offices were in fact damaged by the flooding but would be re-opening as soon as possible. MedConnectUSA operators answered calls even when our clients didn’t even have power. Our operators provided patients with emergency instructions to obtain their medication and were able to direct patients to offices that were open in case of emergency.
By utilizing a medical answering service that is located outside of your area you ensure that when you are affected by any disaster we will not be. We will continue taking calls and providing information to your callers. MedConnectUSA has redundant systems in place to make sure we are here when you need us!
